Frequently asked questions

What does the license cover?

A single-church license: one congregation uses the kit for its own website, for as long as it wants — including on free hosting. Redistributing or reselling the kit files themselves isn't allowed; web designers who build sites for churches need one license per church they set up. Everything your church publishes with it belongs to your church.

Do I get updates?

Yes — every v1.x update (refined template, improved documents) is free. Re-download any time from your download page with your email and password. If a v2.0 ever ships, existing buyers get a clear upgrade path — never a surprise paywall.

What is the refund policy?

If the kit doesn't fit your church, email [email protected] within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full — the zip is yours to keep or delete. One refund per purchase; we only ask for optional feedback.

Do I need technical skills?

None. If you can edit a Word file, you can edit the site: your church's name, service times, sermons — it's all plain text in one file, with comments marking every spot to change. The setup guide is copy-paste, with the exact commands to type. Most churches are live within a week with one volunteer.

Does the kit handle online giving?

No — by design, and we think that's a feature. The kit never touches money: there are no payment fields. The Give button is a plain link to your church's own Tithe.ly, Pushpay or Stripe page, so 100% of every gift goes to the church and your donors' trust stays with you — not with another middleman.

How does support work?

Email [email protected] — it's answered by the person who built the kit, usually within a day. Questions, broken links, template requests are all fair game, and every v1.x update is free: re-download any time from your download page.

What format are the files in?

The website is one plain-text index.html — edit it in any text editor (Notepad, TextEdit, VS Code). The guides are Markdown (.md) files that open in any text editor, the screenshots are PNG, and the license is a plain-text file. Nothing to install, nothing runs on a server — 13 files, all editable with free tools.
